SOLAR ECLIPSE IN JYESTHA NAKSHATRA
Alchemical transmutation. Eruptions of suppressed emotion. Reclaiming the personal power that is our birthright. These are some of the themes of tonight’s solar eclipse in Jyestha Nakshatra, Star of Achievement + being our own hero.

Restless ambition may be kicking in even as governmental restrictions loom in many parts of the world. There’s a sense of wanting to feel more alive + a readiness to take risks that could come across as a bit intense. Go easy on yourself + others if perfectionism kicks in. Depletion can sneak up on us around eclipses.

Mars is strong + with Ketu shadowing the sun. The strongest of us could feel intermittent energy – think the irregular flaring + waning of a flame. Honoring our body + nervous system with adequate self-care will see us through these weeks with sustainable health + smoother relationships. Rest as needed + without apology. Be compassionate with those on edge, including yourself. December is a lot.

Some of us are feeling drawn to deep internal work. Sidereal Scorpio is the sign of transformational healing + libido. There’s opportunity to free up life force that’s been trapped by emotional wounding or trauma. It’s worth noting that Mars’ transit + proximity to Ketu, then crossing the eclipse degree, the precursor to emotional liberation could be anger, fear or paranoia. Jyestha is notoriously sensitive in these respects.
